True Blood‘s new season premieres Sunday, but one of its stars, Alexander Skarsgård, already has a new gig lined up. WWD has confirmed rumors that Skarsgård is indeed a new face of Calvin Klein.
In what is his first endorsement deal, the actor will appear in both print and television ads for Calvin Klein’s new men’s fragrance, Encounter, with fellow CK face Lara Stone. Being able to work with Stone, as well as photographer Steven Klein and creative director Fabien Baron, drew Skarsgård to the project, he said, adding: “Their idea for their concept was very intriguing to me—it was almost like a short film, and very film noir. It felt interesting to me.” The finished product launches globally in September.
