Chanel has sold surfboards, guitar cases, bikes, and fishing rods, but we’re partial to the seasonal one-offs the house’s creative director of makeup Peter Philips has a hand in. A couple of years ago, that meant Chanel temporary tattoos, and now, it means Chanel face stickers. Philips painted the interlocking-C logo on models’ faces yesterday at the Chanel cruise show—meant to mimic Marie Antoinette’s beauty spots—and as a result, black velvet stickers that produce the same effect will be included in the forthcoming Collection Versailles de Chanel makeup line.
