This weekend, Dolce & Gabbana sued Dolce & Banana, a Cape Town shop that sells locally made jewelry. The store, which actually changed its name to …& Banana when Dolce first reached out six years ago, is being taken to court by the Italian luxury brands to pay their legal fees, about $13,000.
Less than 24 hours after that news broke, however, Dolce & Gabbana announced they’d bought a newsstand outside their Corso Venezia store in Milan (which must’ve cost much more than $13,000). Customers can buy glossy magazines from “a Mediterranean, dark-haired, sporty news agent,” according to WWD.
And now, it turns out they’ve been keeping mum on a cameo in Woody Allen’s new flick, To Rome With Love. Swide, the brand’s online magazine, tweeted the above photo of Stefano and Domenico on set, sitting just behind Woody Allen. The move hits theaters next month.
