Doo-Ri Chung, who launched her signature Doo.Ri collection in 2003, has exited her eponymous label, WWD reports. The story is developing, as we’re waiting for comment from the designer, but currently, it’s unclear what her future plans are.
Tharanco Group, which owns Doo.Ri, told WWD it “wishes Chung well in all her future endeavors.” According to the trade paper, Tharanco may sell the brand, which is in stores at Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Barneys New York.
Chung is known for her signature draping; last Fall, she dressed First Lady Michelle Obama for a state dinner, and in January, she collaborated with Macy’s.
