Filming on what is being tenuously eyed as Lindsay Lohan’s comeback role got underway yesterday: she’s playing Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming TV movie, Liz & Dick. The biopic, which will air on Lifetime later this year, follows Taylor’s legendary fiery romance with Richard Burton (played by True Blood‘s Grant Bowler, 18 years Lohan’s senior). Lifetime has released the first official photo, above, and Lohan was snapped yesterday filming aboard a yacht in Marina del Rey, California, wearing a retro, leopard-print maillot.
