If you saw The Hunger Games this weekend, you’ve seen the sweeping preview for Snow White and the Huntsman. The film, which is the more dramatic of the two Snow White movies hitting screens in the next two months, stars Charlize Theron as a truly terrifying evil queen, Kristen Stewart as her sworn enemy (the first title character), and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman (and were back at The Hunger Games).
In the movie, it looks like Stewart wears a lot of chain mail, Hemsworth dons armor and Theron’s wonderfully over the top costumes are sort of goth-meets-Elizabethan. So it reasons that HSN would pick this, of all summer movies, to turn into an actual clothing collection.
Together, with Universal Pictures, the shopping network will whip up a selection of women’s clothing, accessories and items for the home directly inspired by the film’s costumes (also, beauty and power). WWD reports that designers like Adrienne Landau, Loree Rodkin, Heidi Daus and Ranjana Khan are already on board. The products will hit May 30th, so if you select overnight shipping, you can have them in time for a midnight showing.
