Daphne Guinness, the beer heiress with a penchant for haute couture, just tweeted that she’s in the studio, “recording again.” Given her bloodline, not any studio would do, so she’s at Abbey Road, the famous British recording studio in which one might find The Beatles or Pink Flloyd in the 60s.
Guinness has already turned herself into something of a renaissance woman. She’s a patron of the (fashion) arts, playing best friend and muse to designers like Alexander McQueen and photographers like Steven Meisel, she’s both produced and starred in a handful of artsy films. In 2009 she collaborated on a fragrance with Comme des Garçons, and often works with designers to produce her elaborate jewelry. So it’s not shocking that she’d produce her own record—if that’s what she’s doing in the studio. Perhaps she’ll make her stage debut next fashion week? We can only hope!
