Jamie Bochert’s one of the few (if only?) models to so publicly declare her disdain for the fashion industry and yet continue to book major jobs. She’s long been a muse for Marc Jacobs, and appeared in Lanvin’s fall campaign last year, but could her turn for Jimmy Choo mark a more commercial path?
Bochert stars with Magdalena Frackowiak in the luxury shoe brand’s spring campaign, photographed by Terry Richardson. The two play rivals, according to WWD, though they don’t appear to be arguing over much more than a handbag. The shoot was inspired by Justine, the 1969 film set in the Mediterranean, though Richardson shot the photos in New York. It’s the first campaign since the resignation of president Tamara Mellon, though the aesthetic still suits her.
As for the fight, our money’s on Jamie.
