Givenchy‘s rolled out Gisele as goth surfer and Prada‘s plopped its models in a Danny Zuko-worthy gas station, but Kenzo‘s not interested in bells and whistles. Their spring campaign, the first under the creative direction of Opening Ceremony’s Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, is focused on the clothes. Like their September show, the images are divided by stories within the collection. Above, models Ajak Deng and Alex Wek show off the color block story, below they model mesh, and the tafetta balloon pants that had fashion editors swooning. The images were shot by Nairobi-based photographer Roe Ethridge, whose work can be seen in MoMa, the Whitney and Gagosian galleries across the world.
