Madonna is no stranger to being censored—nine of her music videos over the years, including “Justify My Love,” “Like a Prayer,” and most recently “Girl Gone Wild,” have had to be re-edited. But now even the TV commercial for her new Truth or Dare perfume has been deemed too racy.
Page Six reports that after viewing the commercial, ABC executives ordered the ad’s producers to digitally alter Madonna’s bra and corset to cover more of her; they also want a scene where she suggestively writhes around cut from the 30-second spot. Even after the changes are made, ABC reportedly plans to run the ad only after 9 pm or during The View.
