Watch out, Net-a-Porter. Come November, Moda Operandi will no longer solely be holding online trunk shows; The online fashion retailer, which just raised $36 million from investors including LVMH and IMG, is launching traditional e-commerce, Fashionista reports.
Starting with the resort collections in November, the no longer members-only Moda Operandi will be offering a curated selection of in-season merchandise for more immediate delivery, drawn from 40 of their core designers and spanning both runway looks and more “commercial” pieces that the site doesn’t usually sell.
“It’s been something that’s been in the back of our minds from the beginning,” co-founder Aslaug Magnusdottir told Fashionista. “We see this as a way of servicing our customers in a better way, whether for pre-order or if they have last-minute needs.”
