Mulberry‘s gone to great lengths to establish themselves as the most musical of fashion brands, but now they’re adding art to their list of interests.
The British heritage brand will sponsor New York’s first Freize Art Fair next month. From May 4th to 7th, Randall’s Island will be littered with art work and installation pieces from eight different artists curated by Cecilia Alemani who also curates the New York High Line Art program and co-founded No Soul For Sale. As for Mulberry’s sponsorship, they’re offering tote bags and daily newspapers, as well as a branded map of the island and its attractions. The brand will handpick local art students for in depth tours of the fair and, on May 4th, host a celebratory dinner with Lana Del Rey.
