Nicole Richie—who already has Winter Kate, House of Harlow, and a line for QVC—is expanding her clothing empire again, this time with a capsule collection for Macy’s. The collaboration is more than just coincidence: The two currently share airtime on fashion reality show Fashion Star—Richie as a mentor and Macy’s as a retail partner.

The 24 to 30-style Nicole Richie for Impulse collection, which will be sold in 100 Macy’s locations as well as online at Macys.com come mid-September, focuses on prints—think peacock—and bright jewel tones. “This collection has a strong mix of masculine and feminine: printed chiffon mixed with faux leathers,” Richie told WWD. “I focused on the details, from the zipper pulls to the buttons.”
