Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” has been slowly climbing the charts—last week it was in the number two slot—in no small thanks to the viral video done by Ashley Tisdale, Justin Bieber, and Selena Gomez. Said video has launched a number of covers, including one by Katy Perry and her friends, and now both Rebecca Minkoff and Barack Obama have gotten in on the fun. Yesterday, while prepping for the CFDA Awards, Minkoff and her two guests—Hilary Rhoda and Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine—taped their own version, featuring Minkoff’s design team and her son, Luca, too. And on the other end of the spectrum, there’s Barack Obama: a fan pieced together snippets from dozens of Obama’s commencement, campaign trail, and White House speeches so that Obama “sings” the pop song.
