The Obama campaign’s jumping on the nail art bandwagon—and they’re being very fancy about it.

Politico‘s reporting that the campaign paid Le Metier de Beaute $10,000 to whip up a selection of Obama branded polishes.  Not surprisingly, they come in red, white and blue (so on trend!).  The three shades are housed in an Obama branded Dopp kit, all of which sells for $40 on the President’s site.

Le Metier’s a fashion favorite.  It launched in 2006 and collaborated with Marchesa last year (and, randomly, counts LA Reid as an advisor).  To balance the sophisticated, high fashion colors, they really should’ve recruited a drug store brand to create a minx with Bo’s face…
